Probe Industries Factory Performance Series (FPS) Forged Pistons for the Ford 302 Windsor and Strokers are manufactured on advanced 4032 forgings. Most feature wire locks (or double spiral locks in some applications), forced pin oiling with oil distribution grooves, and lock removal indentations. All are suitable for power adder applications. 51100 Steel, .150 wall wrist pins, locks, and oil rail supports (if required) are included.
Flat Top
Flat top pistons in a Ford 302 to 363 engine will generally provide compression ratios in the 9.0 to 10.5:1 range which makes them a good option for engines with aluminum heads and larger than stock camshafts. Valve reliefs are configured to work with most types of 20° standard and aluminum cylinder heads, as well as Twisted Wedge,  and will normally fit camshafts to well over .600 valve lift.
Dish Top
Dish top pistons in a Ford 302 to 363 engine will generally provide compression ratios in the 8.5 to 10.0:1 range which makes them a good option for engines with aluminum heads and larger than stock camshafts. Valve reliefs are configured to work with most types of 20° standard iron and aluminum cylinder heads, as well as Twisted Wedge,  and will normally fit camshafts to well over .600 valve lift.
Dome Top
Dome top pistons in a Ford 302 to 363 engine will generally provide compression ratios in the 12.5 to 14.0:1 range which makes them a good option for competition engines. Valve reliefs are configured to work with most types of 20° standard iron and aluminum cylinder heads, as well as Twisted Wedge, and will normally fit camshafts to well over .600 valve lift.
