SCAT 4340 Crankshafts are machined from a premium 4340 steel and are heat treated for maximum strength and typically feature: Straight shot & chamfered oil holes, Nitride hardened for superior wear reisistance, Lightening holes in all rod throws Large radius on all journals, Precision ground, Heat treated, shot peened, All Inspected & micropolished at SCAT. For absolutely serious street and racing applications, these crankshafts are the only choice. They are perfect for high horsepower, torque and RPM's and work great for all levels of power adders. Weights available in Standard, Light Weight, Ultra Light and Q Light.

Chevrolet - 350 Small Block
SCAT manufactures five distinct Crankshaft types for hundreds of applications to fit every level of performance which includes 4340, and Cast Steel in a variety of strokes. Incremental strokes run from 3.250 to 4.000 allowing for cubic inch displacements that range from 327 to 408 cubic inches

SCAT 4340 Forged steel crankshafts for the 400 Chevrolet block offer choices of stroke beginning at 3.500 and running up to 4.000 allowing for cubic inch displacements that begin 380 and run up to 434 cubic inches. Most strokes are available in Standard, Pro Series Lightweight, or Superlight allowing the flexibility to tailor your choice for anything from a Spec Class superlight to a heavily boosted beast.
Chevrolet - Big Block
SCAT 4340 Forged steel crankshafts for the 454 Chevrolet block offer choices of stroke beginning at 3.766 and running up to 4.750 allowing for cubic inch displacements that begin at 440 and run up to 557 cubic inches, assuming a 4.310 bore. Most strokes are available in Standard or Pro Series Lightweight, allowing the flexibility to tailor your choice for your particular application.

Chrysler 392/426 HEMI
SCAT Standard Weight Crankshafts for the early Chrysler HEMI engine come in 3.795, 3.900, or 4.050. All feature 2.100 Chevy Rod Journals and use 6.125 connecting rods.
Ford - 302

Ford - 351 Cleveland Main
SCAT Crankshafts for the Ford 351C and aftermarket block are available as 3.500, 3.750, 3.850, 4.000. 4.100, or 4.250 stroke models. They are each offered in either an Internal or External balance design and come in Standard Weight, Pros Series Lightweight, or Superlight series crankshafts. Cubic inch displacements range from 351 to 454.
Ford 4.6/5.4L Modular
SCAT 3.750 stroke 4340 crankshafts for the 4.6/5.4 Ford allow a stroker displacement of 5.0L in a 4.6L block.
Ford - 429/460 Big Block
SCAT Crankshafts for the Ford 460 block are available as 4.150, 4.300, 4.500, or 4.750 stroke models. They are each offered in an Internal balance design and come in Standard Weight, Pros Series Lightweight, or Superlight series crankshafts. They are also available with a BOSS 429 nose, as desired.
Ford FE Series
SCAT Crankshafts for the Ford FE block are available as 4.125. or 4.250 stroker models. They are each offered in as an Internal balance design and come in Standard Weight.
Pontiac - 400/455
SCAT Crankshafts for the Pontiac 400 and 455 block are available as 4.000, 4.250, or 4.500 stroke models. They are each offered as an Internal balance designed and come in Standard Weight, Pros Series Lightweight, or Superlight series crankshafts. Each is available to fit either the 400 or the 455 block.
