351 cubic inch Cleveland engine kits are based on the 4.000 bore engine block and a 3.500 stock stroke crankshaft. Larger camshafts and enhanced fuel systems are a good addition to complement the increased capability. Custom combinations are also available for specialized applications.




Flat Top
Flat top pistons in a 351 Cleveland Ford engine will generally provide compression ratios in the 10.3:1 range with a 64cc head, which makes them a good option for engines with aluminum heads and larger than stock camshafts. Valve reliefs are configured to work with most types of standard and aluminum cylinder heads and will normally fit camshafts to slightly over .700 valve lift.

Dish Top

Valve reliefs are configured to work with most types of standard and aluminum cylinder heads and will normally fit camshafts to slightly over .700 valve lift.
