This intake was designed for specific circle track classes that require the use of a Bowie/Vortec cylinder heads. Unlike a standard Vortex style vertical intake bolt angle a Bowtie/Vortec cylinder head has the old style angles. In addition the intake ports are slightly different left to right while the port height is much taller. Lastly there is an extra 1.000 added to the carb flange.
