The Innovators West #203 Balancer is designed for use with internally balanced Small Block Ford engines. It comes equipped with drivers side timing marks for use in early 289 and 302 applications and is equipped with the Ford 3 bolt pulley pattern.

This balancer is best matched for stock or modified engines producing up to approximately 1000 hp Naturally Aspirated (up to 1500 hp with power adder). For applications over 1000 hp NA, please look at the #207 Race Balancer.

The Innovators West dampers are a friction style damper. Inside the damper is a wet friction clutch pack assembly. Spring Loaded inertia rings work in conjunction with clutches to provide the dampening action. There is a small amount of fluid inside that acts as a lubricant as well as dissipates heat. The free floating clutch pack design allows for a broad dampening range in a small package.
