Dome top pistons in a 525 inch Chevrolet engine will generally provide compression ratios in the 10.5 to 13.75:1 range (depending on cylinder head type) which makes them a good option for engines ranging from street to high compression strip cars. Dome volumes are 18.0, 39.0, and 48.0 ccs. Valve reliefs are configured to work with most types of standard and aluminum cylinder heads and will normally fit camshafts to over .750 valve lift.
